that is true if you like the way it sounds, its good, i only spent about $400 on 2 rockford fosgate punch p1 10s, 2 mtx door speakers, and two jensen 6x9s and my dad put a $1600 system in his and i think mine sound better but he thinks his sounds better. all and all it is personal preference.

definatly depends on the amps brand..........
also what class of amp....
like for subs a class D

you want the test THD to be preaty low........
and if it doesnt say the THD level or RMS power i wont trust any of the amps specs...

if you REALY wanna be safe about your investement always buy stuff that has OFFICIAL specs!!!!

dont believe something that says.. 2400watts..... lol

lmao i fell for that 1 already. i guess thats y my old 2 channels were bad. i bought some cheap one from chinatown in manhattan that said they were 1200 watts

I love pioneer you get a lot quality for price at least thats been my experience. It really isn't competition but it will still sound better than the guy sitting next to you at the light.

Hahaha I dont know what he said but that's pure pwnage right there. Oh and yeah, 10 gauge is kinda small. Im not a big fan og Pioneer but theyre pretty good.

i really wouldnt worry about it verge isnt known for the best quality equipment but to be honest with you the best subs i ever owned were a 40.00 pair or DUAL 12 inch subs i bought off a friend i have a 550.00 Eclipse sub enclosure now and honestly..id wish idve saved the money and not sold those duals off.
