RE: W3 vs. L7
hmm well no1 else is helpin ya here lol well at least ppl who kno about these things more than i do....but i do kno that the sony products are not the best of quality, and that the amps dont last and dont kick out the amount of power they are said to....go to www.crutchfield.com and look at profile amps, are you jus putting one sub or 2? the 1200 series would b sufficient, for 2 or the 1000 series bridged for 1 sub......

Depends on the price. I got my 15" L7 for a great price and I'm running it in a homemade box tuned to around 34Hz, soon to be powered bya Kicker ZX750.1 amp. The W3 will definitely have better sound quality though.

I like JBL also, alot dont understand they have deep roots in very very high quality home audio and their products are for the most part rock solid. MTX also has really solid amps atleast, I put 2 MTX 4122's through hell bridged running at 1 ohm in the back of a caddy with no a/c on hot *** summer days and they never gave in. 30hz is deep but I had a 12W7 in a 2.25 cu ft box tuned to 26hz and on certain soungs it would upset your senses to be in the car.
