had a alpine deck at the tie, cant remember what model. The box was tuned to 26hz and on late nite tip(3-6 mafia) it would make you want to get out of the car. I put a guy with a MMATS Juggernaught 12 and a 2200watt MMATS amp to shame with the setup and I hit 144.xx db's around 32hz. I had the sub in a number of boxes but that was the lowest tuned one.

 

ha late night tip is always the sub test song....every youtube video's got that bumpin....

 

i would prefer jl products over kicker anyday, but for just loud straight bass a kicker is where its at

JL W3 all the way no contest, i got my 2 12" W3's powered by a crossfire 600d, and bassed against 2 L7's (ample power no sony bull crap, i just cant remmeber the amp ill ask him) i hit 144.6 on scale, he hit 142.5. On top of that, the jl's have a MUCH cleaner sound if used in the right enclosure. +1 JL!![align=left] [/align]
