Default what to get

well i ordered an alpine mrd-m1005 1000w amp and now i have got to make my choice on subs. its either two 12" alpine type r's or one 12" type x....which will hit harder? i can get the 2 for $310 and the type x for $290 so they are almost the same price. i want a good system but i want it to hit HARD.

Get the type R's they hit real hard and they sound crisp. My freind has them and he loves them. He's had MTX's and Kickers but likes the Alpine type R's the best. Between the type R and type X its a win win situation. Lemme know what you decide.

i'd get the 2 type r's, you'll probably get more bass from 2 even if the type X has the combined wattage of the 2 type r's, plus i find that it looks better when there is 2 subs in the trunks than one, when you have just one sub, it looks lonely. I only have 1 type r with the mrd-605 and it rocks. you will love the 2 type r's.
