u could buy a tone generator, bout 40-600, cheap one does the job ive just head to replace the leads with quality ones they have an rca output and will put sound into your amp that way u can diagnose it to either the amp or hu/wires

 

thanks for the help. I think Im gonna take it to a shop and have them diagnose it. Maybe Ill just buy a new one.

 

Ok I checked my TWO local shops. Neither one of them will test amps. Is there anyway I can bench test the amp myself?

 

if u had the tone generator i mentioned earlier u could, or if u had a buddy with a system and just swap amps and see if your amp powers his subs.

 

Thanks, I dont know anyone around here with a amp powered system. I found a place today that fixes pin-ball machines and the owner said he could test and fix my amp.

 

Sweet, a system that will function as a working pinball machine as well, I am sold!
