Default What speakers?

Hey guys, I haven't been on here forever. I was going to get a really nice 94 (i think) blk 2dr 5spd ex with low miles but it got sold before I could buy it. Anyways, I ended up getting an 88 Mustang GT with t-tops. I know some of you are anti ford blah blah blah, but I don't hate on Civics as long as their not riced out. Most of you have really nice cars on here. (I wish I could of got that civic now as gas prices went up 2 bucks a gal since I got the stang..)

Anyways. To my question since mustangforums is no help on audio...

I'm looking for a low budget system. I've got space for 5x7's in the rear and I believe 5 1/4's up front along with two dash speakers, no bigger than 4". I'm wanting to put components up front, mids in the door, tweeters in the dash. I already have 2 Elemental Designs 13ov2's and a profile ap 2000 amp to push them.

What would be a good budget set of components, that also sound very good? Also same for a set of 5x7s? I plan on getting a Profile ap1040 to power them (80rms x4 at 4ohms), because it will match the amp for my subs.

Also how do you hook up components? Do you run one speaker wire to the x-over and from there one to the mids and one to the tweeter? (I've never seen them in person...)
