Hello a freind has the Compvr's in his ride 3 10 inchers to be exact he thinks they dont kick hard enough so he wants to go for something new the guy at the shop was pushing him towards 3 JL 12W3v2d4's said they be way better than the CVR's what do you guys think seems to me like the cvr's are rated almost the same as the JL's but im a total newb so please explain

 

well since no one seems to know ill let you know how it sounds he decided it to get them

 

I dont think anybody responded because there are numerous topics on these exact subs. And you have to be a little patient since there arent too many of us that are knowlegable on audio except for a small handful and your truley is one of them.

 

I actually had both of these systems. 3 comp vr 10's and 3 JL w3 10's. The W3's pwned the comp vr's.

Vr's are great for he money but IMO JL has the best 10's on the market.

Now if you want to go with the solobaric's that's another story.

 

yah i told em to get the solobarics also but the installer told em he was gonna have a hard time fitting em in the back of his f-150 he bough the w3's but the 12's hes only got to right now system will be finished in 2 weeks the 2 12's kick way hard er than the 10's if you get a lil loud it seems on the exesive side but im guessing thats what he wanted

 

comp vr's are better and cheeper
