Went down to Watkins Glen International yesterday to watch some racing. It's a 2.5 mile road course in central NY near the PA border, they used to run F1 races there back in the day. There were 300 Porsches there this weekend! Here are some pictures:

if you're seriously interested, some clubs run driver education at the Glen, and when I say "clubs" I mean BMWCCA, PCA, etc., and it will run you ~$300 for 2 days. I know a few people who will be there next week. If you look around you can find the info.

Thanks Tony, I'm just shooting with a Nikon Coolpix 885, it's nothing special. About 40% of my pics went straight in the trash... I'm glad I got to see it though

 

Hell yeah, must have been a great time. I can only imgaine the sound. Were there any Carrera GT's there?

And I hear more and more good things about Nikon Cameras every day. I'm still debating on what my next camera will be. I'm aiming for something in the 1000-1500 dollar range. That obviously won't happen until around Christmas though.
