need help dudes
ok i have just got photoshop cs2 recently (i have been using paint.net for all my previous chops) but i can't fricken figure out how to make a straight line.. like on ms paint you can just draw and a line come and if you want it to curve you click the curvey one and on paint.net you just click the line tool and then you click and drag and then you can click and drag little points on the line to adjust the curvy ness to it.. on photoshop when i try makina line with the line tool it puts eachl ine into a new layer and creates some vector mask thing and links two thingys together .. and all i wanna do is be able to take that line and just draw a straight line normally like on ms paint and paint.net.. anybdoy know what im talkin about and anybody can help me??? i've been tryin to figure it out for so long now~!!!?![:@]
try taking the paintbrush, press and hold shift, click once, move the mouse to where you want yer line to end, and click again... I think thats how it works... if that doesn't work... take the box selecty tooly thing... and have that go over the "line" you wanna draw, you then pop out the magic paint bucket (I think its hiding under gradient fill) and fill the selected area in... works kinda like mspaint does so awsomely
i've not touched CS2 in a fairwhile... partially cause i've been doing unix werk
best of luck, i'm sure someone knows more than me on the subject
