hey dood. welcome to the forum.

i've never done a flush by myself, but lots of people say it's easy.

btw, are you a gamer? or 3D artist?

i would remove the upper radiator hose. and remove one of the heater core hoses. then use a hose and flush one way... then the other. thats the only way to do it really without a flush mashine.

For me I drain the coolant, add water run for a bit,run car, drain, add coolant is the easy way to do it.That pretty close to what they tell you to do on the back of the flush.except for the part of adding the flush.

the way i did my truck flush i just removed the plastic drain plug and stuck in a garden hose and let the motor run with the garden hose ON just about 1/2-1hour of run time.. tho that was on my truck which has a HUGE radiator... so seeing how a civics radiator is so small radiator id say 1/2 hour give or take..... just let the sucker run and keep draining water until the water is clean just adjust the garden hose so it keeps the radiator full and alittle overflowing BUT not just overflowing ABUNCH! just makes it easier to see the dirty water comen out. just takes awhile... took along time in my truck cause its such a big motor and radiator everytime it opened the thermostat the fresh cold water would pour in and cool the motor back down which took even longer for the thermostat to keep open and closing...

but if you want a QUICK FLUSH remove the thermostat..... that will realy flush the junk out quick....
