well.....after reading the DIY on painting rims like 12 times I'm almost postive I want to paint my rims....


I photoshoped it a bit...

what do you think?

Looks pretty cool, but I'm not a fan of all black rims so my opinion is biased lol.

 

try doing a good job of masking off the lip and just painting the spokes a gloss black, that would look pretty cool

 

I agree, that would look very cool. The 17s I have are white (they came with the car when I bought it), in a way I kinda wish they were silver but hey, at least I have them and they look pretty good with my green civic so I'm not complaining lol. Either way, the black rims look good.

thats my post for when i did paint my rims, picture links are broken but, all the questions i had are awnserd on there...

i used clear coat, they have special wheel clear coat thats available at auto stores for about 5 dollars a can.

use the DIY, i got all the stuff that it recomended
