Default 1st washing for new car?

How long should I wait before washing my new Honda?

When I got my Jimmy pickup in 2000 I was told to wait at least 30 days.

Any Ideas?

i bought my 06 and stored it for a month because of winter, but when i started to drive it i washed, and put a good wax on it within 5 days. i dont see any reason why not to wash it, unless you got it painted in the last few days

Shoot it... I mean wash it. You should be able to wash and wax. It takes forever for cars to get to the dealership anyways.

I have never heard of not washing it when you bring it home, if anything i thought it would be good for it. wash and wax.
