You may want to check if the lip is just polished or if they put a clear coat over it....If it has clear coat I don't think I would use an aluminum polish on it...The Royal Blue should be fine though.

you can def wax them in fact i encourage it. as far as cleaning just use soap and water. or if at show or don't feel like washing the whole car use meguiars quick detail. and a terry u can use it on the car paint and everything.
when i go to shows i use quick detail,tire shine, and window cleaner thats all ya need

On my black mesh wheels I just use soap and water, works fine. In extreme cases, I use Simple Green as it is not acid based. Anything non-acidic should do fine though. Acid eats away clear coat and can cause stains on non-clear. Definitely wax them, helps cut down on brake dust accumulation and just looks better. Nice wheels BTW...
