I have just completed my first wax job performed. Good wash was performed and rinse. Used Meguires Clay bar. Washed car again. Then applied the paste wax. Finish looks good but surface feels like little grains or spots on the surface it is not super smooth. Any thoughts on great wax to use or what really makes the surface smooth and protects??

 

i would have clay bared then used Meguires ultimate rubbing compound then a glaze coat then the wax. you usually want to apply two or three coats of wax.
