Default front bumper clamp!!!

is there anyplace besides a dealership where i can get a new bumper clamp (or mount) because i pulled up on a curb and forgot i was low to the ground and tapped the curb. well i get outta my car a few days later and see that the front left wheel wells clamp is gone and the bumper is kinda hanging about 3 or 4 inches and about an inch off of the tire. how should i clamp that on if the actual slot for the bumper is broken? help it looks so tacky!

Can you take a picture of the other one. I am not really sure what you are talking about.

Ahh this just happened to me. You mean the hole on the each side of the bumper that attaches it to the fender right? Both mine just broke.

Oh, if that what he is talking about, just get a washer, a nut, and a bolt. Epoxy the washer and the nut to the broken spot. then you can screw the bolt in and it will hold everything together. I had to do that on my old Accord.

^ nice I already had a nut and bolt there. I never thought of epoxying them though.

Yeah, it just holds it on and makes it stronger. Also its WAY easier to put the bumper back on since you dont have to lne everything up and balanceit and all. LOL

yea both my clamps are broken, i just have a nut and bolt and have it tightened down good, i used a lock washer for a while and it worked good but it was really hard to take on and off, i say just get a nut and bolt nad maybe a washer and you'll be good lol gotta get rid of the zip ties
