My Painted Teapot

Although it is not a car, but I want to share something that I learned about spray paint in my class.
1. Sand 100-150 & Clean Surface,
2. Primer, (Let it dry follow the recommendation on the primer)
3. Guide Coat, (Sand 150-180) (to level the surface) (Also fill imprefectation with putty)
4. Primer, (Let it dry follow the recommendation on the primer)
5. Guide Coat, (Wet Sand 600) (to level the surface again)
6. If you didn't break through the primer, spray base coat (Let dry for 1 hr)
7. Clear coat (1st "fog it" spray it far away to make texture for clean coat to grab) (2nd->whatever coats you gonna spray, increase the amount of clean laying on the surface. It should looks like water on the surface "mirror like" or "wet" looking. Check it under light reflection. It should have no texture at all)
8. Let it dry for the recommented days (Our teacher tell us to get 2 days before color sanding)
9. Guide coat the clear (yes don't afraid to do this, to level the surface) (Wet Sand 1000 then 1500, Dry and check for orange peel. Wet Sand again if you got any)
10. Polish and wax. (You know the way!)
Thx for the complaments, The top is the lid and the mouth is the triangle thingy. It is a "in-sta cass" (don't know how to spell it)model. It is solid all the way, so sorry it is not functional.
