Default Need help or suggestions

This girl I know backed in to a pole and scraped her car. There is only one scratch part that removed the paint and I got all the paint from the pole off with this Adhesive remover I had in my car supplies. She wants me to continue fixing it should I sand it down and then use touch up paint? Another question is that there are some parts of the paint from the pole that I can't get off and they are risen off the paint any suggestions, tips or previous posts that will help me get this car back to its old self? Btw its a 2005 White Acura TSX incase that may help at all.

You use a rubbing compound to remove the pole paint, but don't get carried away. If you don't have alot of experience sanding, painting, and buffing, you could easily make things worse. Scratches are tough to fix perfectly and sometimes, it's best to buff and wax them only.

I used the adhesive and it got 99% of the paint from the pole off...should I just layer on the rubbing compound? Would it be more effective if I use a mchine do it

yeah a machine can help because you can only rub so hard by hand.

i'm about to do a write up on do it yourself touch up that might work really well for this i can't say for sure without seeing it though.

You can easily rub the rubbing compound through the clear coat so start out by hand. Only if that doesn't work should you use a machine.
