a "professional" doesn't use a car wash, a "professional" hand washes it with care.

it was a joke, and just let the paint cure a little longer than a week before you take it to one. and it really depends on which car wash you go in, some are high pressure, and some have shammies (sp?) which could possibly chip your car if something were to happen.

i was always told after you paint a car not to wash it for a month to let it cure all the way.. if you wash it yur takingthe chance of scratching the paint.. but thats just what i been told

ya i'd wait a few weeks for the paint to cure and be worry free. after that, a drive-thru carwash shouldnt hurt it so long as the pressure washers they use arnt way to powerful(which they really shouldnt be anyways). tho, if u can wash and wax it urself, that'd be alot better.

I don't mind washing it myself, I've done it plenty of times, but for some reason, it doesn't get 100 percent clean like I want it
