Default weird milky hase when waxing....

ok so its been forever since ive written anything cause ive been gone....anyways its been about 5 months since ive waxed my black coupe so i thought i would so i have the royal blue that i got on here and when i used it the first time it was great no problems. So this time i just did like the last and went to autozone to get some regular applicator pads and i let the car sit for about 2 hours to cool off.So i went to start with the hood cause i had some bad swirls on there from about 2 months ago when i tried the meguiars tech wax,so i put the wax on and everything and i noticed it wasnt going on right it looked like these weird just kinda half dotty half streaky lookin crap i dont know.Anyways i noticed this milky hase like stuff on there but not everywhere i put the wax sooooooooo would anyone know whats going on or have any idea if its the applicators or something else?????

I'm not familiar with that specific product, but with a lot of waxes you're supposed spread it on, then wipe that "haze" off with a seperate towel.

It should always do it while you're applying the Royal Blue.

That's really weird. So, you applied the wax with one towel, wiped it off with the other, and it STILL left the haziness?

sounds like it overcured or something. If it dries for too long it is hard as hell to get off.

That or maybe you just needed a new rag.

I am going to buy an automatic buffer thingy tonight, and do some trial and error work on my hood. I hate all the hard hand labor it takes to get an older paint job back to life.
