I had been searching a lot in Google and forums for the Paint Code for the type-r yellow with no luck.

So far I can see only Posche Cayman and S2000 yellow paint close to be the yellow I want.





However which one do you guys think is closer?

Also I know where to get S2000Spa Yellowbut the Posche L12G Speed Yellow is hard to find. Will I be able to find paint shop to just mix it for me?

 

The last pic is HUGE try trimming it down some or resizing it.


And the Honda paint you are looking at is Pheonix Yellow

Y-56 is pheonix yellow...or "type-r yellow"

 

yeah you can get a place to mix just the paint for you if you want to spray it.....i work in a paintstore that sells everything, and thats what i do all day.mix automotive paints for the bodyshops and regular guys. if your in new york (long island) ill hook you up...........ill double check that paint code for the "type r yellow" y-56 doesnt sound right for a honda paint code...ill let you know tomorrow when i go to work and run it through chromavision

San Francisco...I live near by there, like 2 hour drive...
There's a bunch of aftermarket shops and **** all over a road called santa rosa ave. they got 3 places or so that paints too...I'm not sure

 

shiii Y-56 is the right paint code, so go for it

i like the Type R yellow too!

 

Thanks POLYTHING, but I will paint it as a project. It is also a practice for acadmic work haha. I will like to get the Spa yellow instead. Y-56 really not my cup of tea.
