2004 civic ex 5-speed Ignition upgrade

How can I upgrade my stock Ignition system to a more powerful one.

I wouldn't bother. You won't see any difference unless your over 3-400 horsepower. An ignition improvement would yield virtually no results, as the upgrade is much more important when you're pushing your fuel to the edge. THEN the ignition systems is important when the spark is very crucial. You'll notice many civics running very high horsepower with stock ignition systems, so this would be a useless and expensive upgrade.

Just pick up some new spark plugs and gap them correctly...nothing fancy, just OEM replacements.

I am going to add alittle Nos to my car and all the kits say to upgrade the Ignition system. why do they say that.
