trust me... you don't want to screw with vtec engagement unless you have some pretty decent mods (forced induction or an aggressive cam are the two things that come to my mind)... Honda chose the vtec engagement point on each engine for a reason; it's not like they picked an rpm number out of a hat and used that.

And addiction, aren't you swapping a d16z6 in the 94? If so, vtec already engages at 4800rpm.

*edit: whoops... apparently I can't spell "forced" correctly

Considering you can get complete engine management via CROME for less than a VTEC controller... yeah they're complete crap.

with the buddy club you get wat you pay for.if you get an apexi its more than just a vtec controller,if you want something to just adjust the vtec use a msd rpm switch with the rpm pills if your not running a car with the vtec harness and ecu if you got the vtec wired stock for vtec cars just get your ecu chipped

what do you need a chip for im not fimilar with the set up on those?

are they dohc or sohc?

wat obd are they?

wat car is it agian?

if it is obd2 to get a chip you need a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness to run a p28 ecu then chip the p28 ecu

if it is obd1 im sure a p28 chip will work all the same just diffrent name i think

if the year is 2000 up im not sure at all on chips for those
