Thumbs up

not so much wrong information, but definatly nothing that would solve his problems.

you sir, (trustdestruction) offered the best options. The base k20 can take 300whp, which is pretty good considering its about 140 to the wheels stock. as we've seen in recent history, a2's can def hit the 400+ mark safely, but thats not what we're here about. The a3 can take 12-15psi and hit the 300 mark all day. but you need to have it tuned with kpro, preferrably by a pro.

reflashes are specific to tunes (i/h/e, vtec engagement, blah blah blah) , iirc, and count towards the cost of kpro. as far as hondata goes with EMUSA turbo kits, there is no base tune unless you mimic a revhard tune, which runs 12ohm 550cc injectors with 3" exhaust (i think i just checked it last night on kmanager, its something like that anyways) @7 or 10 psi.

apexi whatever is garbage on an a3, dont use it.

anywho, i found this page through google, looking for more boost info. so that means some 15 year old could come along and read about this and get all the confusing information posted in here, as there was maybe one definate answer, with the list of parts, (and i would go for the 550 inj over 440s) and I would like to direct him to the home of the 2002-2005 Civic Si (EP3) where alot of really good info and helpful members are.

im not trying to bash this forum in any way, im sure its full of good knowledge acroos all the civic platforms, but i would like to share with the OP and anyone else that stumbles across this page these (nearly) EP specific forums where they can easily find out what they need to know. It's not like every other civic, the only real interchangable part that you would want from it is the radio...=\

you would understand if you owned one lol.

take care all, drive safe. merry christmas.

you just need a little more fuel, i suggest drilling your injectors out and switching all your fule lines out for like 3 inch pvc pipe, you might think its ghetto but trust me it will work.

thread is dead, and wtf? surely ur trolling my ***. drill out injectors? how would they close? you realize that the fuel system stays pressurized and the engine would flood out if you did that? pvc? please show me a car that runs with this setup. that jerkoff above you talking about misinformation a month ago was out of line, but this is prob the type of thing he was on about.
read this info about injectors so that you know how they work, and that using a drill on one is what a philistine would do to make his car faster.

Explain to me right now why I shouldn't ban you for trolling. Or are you really that stupid?

You have 24 hours.

so my man i recently learned how this all worked so you have the stock o2 sensor that controls the air fuel ratio so i dont know how much boost can you run on a stock ecu thats where the ecu comes in the ecu adjust the air fuel ratio to some point if it runs lean ecu puts more fuel runs rich ecu takes some fuel out if you have a exhaust leak you will run rich because the o2 sensor reads more oxygen in the exhaust system and thinks it has to much air inside the combustion chamber and less fuel so it puts more fuel but that is not the case so::: the main part of tuning is the air fuel ratio that need to be around 14.7 for normal petrol engine and the ecu can adjust at the certain point i dont know how much boost but i can tell you with 7 psi the stock ecu will not add more fuel and if you call 7 psi low boost its not low people with 10 pounds have gotten 500hp so for you my friend 7 pounds you will need a tune if you have a Honda you will need the Hondata flash pro easy to use plug and play really easy but you will need a diferent o2 sensor go with a higher bandwidth like 20 psi bandwidth so you have space if you upgrade
all you need to know is you need to have the fuel to air ratio correct
run lean you blow the engine
run rich hurt the turbo thats it yalla
