Default cap and rotor question

I was wondering how much of a difference a modified rotor and distributor cap would make hp and torque. i bought some cheapo spark plug wires and they screwed up after a month. i just bought some accel spark plug wires and they sure made a difference. i'm just curious if that would be the same with the ditributor cap and rotor. opinions and experiences would greatly be appreciated.

There's a chance it would improve your car's efficiency, but the gains will be negligible (unless your dizzy is already f**ked up). Quality plugs will make a lot more difference.

it depends on how old your car is, how many miles you have on it, and how good of shape your cap and rotor are. If it looks pretty wore out, Id chage them.

my car has about 121,000 miles on it. the distributor cap is about two months old. it's a borg warner. the rotor is still the stock one. bye the way don't buy borg warner ignition wires they suck. it only took a month for one of the wires to break.

I need new plugs, what brand do you recomend? Also should I change the wires also?

Thanks!

people have their choices and brands of spark plugs to go with. but definitely go with platinum or iridium plugs. with spark plug wires if you're wanting a little more pep step up to some msd or accel wires they're both good brands.
