Default car shuts off while driving

ok i alredy looked into all of this but i need some feedback. its the ignition output relay or cel code 15. ive been checking everything down, my main relay seems ok i hear the fuel pump run and i disconnected it and reconnected it and i can hear when it activates. also iv'e alredy replaced my distributor once about 1yr ago. but my car shuts off when it's on or driving. and it does it at random sometimes it wont and sometimes in 15 min. so any ideas. just dont wanna blow more cash on another distributor.

You may have a faulty wire connecting the igniter unit in the distributor to the ECU or the ignition switch (see picture for troubleshooting).

Also check whether wires attached to the igniter unit are loosely connected or corroded.

The car clearly wouldn't start with a non-functional igniter. It's feasible that the igniter might be intermittently failing, so you could try replacing the igniter. The risk here is that the problem might actually be due to a loose wire connection to the igniter within the distributor (open distributor to inspect) or a faulty wire running from the ECU to the igniter, as mentioned in the troubleshooting procedure described in the pictures.

***Also be aware that the fact that your problem is intermittent makes troubleshooting very complicated in that a problem might only be revealed after performing a test many different times.***

so i pressed on the wires to the igniter, no luck. bad part about the igniter it cost about 80-100 bucks. would the internal coil have problems like that?? i could upgrade it to an external msd coil and it'd be slightly cheaper. i also checked the main relay and tried it with another so it's fine. so any thoughts?
