should I buy a chip(and if so what brand)and install it myself or should I send my ecu out to be reprogramed?

No pre-made chip will do anything good for your car, go with uberdata and tune it on a dyno.

it all depends on your modifications. If you are running intake header exhaust it aint worth the tune.

Really it is because we all know it dont stop there. When I put my D15B in I went and dyno tuned it before I boosted it to get base lines. When I started I was at 111.5 whp and with tunning and a cool down I ended up at 120.3 before I boosted at the wheels with bolt ons. That is LS power with a home made short ram, no cat, and a dc header. and on top of that I made that power at a rpm that D series are not even supposed to be at(8300rpm)
