Default Chiped p28

hey i got a buddy who has a chipped p28 and he wants to sell it to me for $100. but he says its tuned on chrome, and to my understanding chrome is a boost application for tuning am i not correct? im doing a turbo set up in my car im breaking in the new clutch i put in a couple weeks ago. but i was wondering, if i threw that p28 chipped on chrome. what would it do to my car?

I think $100 is good for a p28 chipped with chrome....seeing as people can sell an untouched p28 for $100.

It'll allow the car to run, but it won't run like it should. Even if you do have the exact same set-up, the tune will need tweaking. I have never seen the same tune for 2 different motors (regardless of the same set-up)...every car is different. All you would have to do is find a tuner who can tune on chrome and give it to him.
