Which D series ECUs can be converted to VTEC?

Default Which D series ECUs can be converted to VTEC?

Which ECU's can be converted to VTEC? Of these can i only convert those ECUs which come from EFI engines or can carburetted ones be converted too?

You do know the d16z6, and d16y8 both have vtec right, and they're both EFI .

just get a new ECU that is already VTEC enabled.

why convert when you can just pick up a ecu that is made for vtec? p28?

because ECU's aren't cheap



to the OP:

PR4, P05, P06, and P75 can be converted to VTEC and run identical to a P28,

i had no idea. the way people talk about it sometimes it seems like its not a huge expense. i stand corrected. i have a 91 DX, that i'm going to do a mini me swap on. do i need to get a different ecu, or can mine be converted aswell?
