Dad Needs HELP With Daughters CAR

Yeah if it was running on a B16A2 ecu it would be dumping on too much fuel because that engine is DOHC and has more airflow, so probably needs more fuel to maintain the proper fuel to air ratio.

OK I looked at the Car Today
The Box under the passenger side panel is as follows:
37820-P2T-A11
z4 1170-107918
Engine
B16A2
4308589
The computer box has a bunch of wire coming out of it as a few seam half-*** patched together -
So with this engine in this car are there any wires that have to me moved or change here
it appears something was done. Is there a drawing that shows what colors are what?
Please Advise
I greatly appreciate everyone’s input
when Ifigure out how to post a picture of the car I will

where do you live?
Hey Watt, have you read the engine code on the engine? It's on the left hand side of the block, it may be hard to make out but it's right to the left of the exhaust manifold. It should say B16A3 or B16A2. Just want to make sure it says that.

I would do a reset on the ECU and see if that changes anything. To do that just disconnect the negative battery terminal and leave it off for 5 mintues (more to be safe) and reconnect it. See if that changes anything.
Have you always had this problem since purchase, or is it a new problem? If it is a new problem I would think that the previous owners install was OK, but if it has been a constant problem, then he did something wrong, i.e something with the ecu.
And this is for the others involved with this problem. Would he be getting any CEL's with an improper connection or anything else out of sync or is that not necessarily the case?
p.s you should be extremely careful when buying a modded car from someone. Unless you have automotive knowledge and can check everything yourself, you are relying totally on the person you built the car which is always a risk.
