Remove each door switch and check them for an electrical short.

I was able to remove all the door plugs or sensors or whatever they called. my question is do i check the plug itself for elctricity or the line its pluged into. and also how do i do that with a basic fuse tester that light ups if it works?

Test each disconnected switch with a continuity tester. In the "door-closed" switch position there should be no continuity between the two terminals whereas in the "door-open" switch position there should be.
