guys i bougth a second hand computerbox that matches the distributor i replaced in my b16A engine,the engine sucessfully start and it runs good.But it seems that the Vtec was gone =( what would i do? is it possible to convert the non vtec computerbox ?is it the ECU that i will replace to run the Vtec on my B16A engine ? pls help me and thanks in advance guys

 

first off is it a b16a2 or b16a head?

if its a b16 its got vtec but check the vtec solenoid b/c it could possibly be bad also,,

90% of the time a problem occurs with vtec.. its a dirty filter screen in the solenoid..... not the ecu and dizzy
