ECU for D16
Hey guys,
I own a 2005 honda civic dimension with a D16 engine.I've already placed in a few upgrades, such as an air filter, custom headers and midpipe, mufflers, lowerings springs, lightened flywheel and metallic clutch.I wanna ask what would be a suitable aftermarket ECU for its engine, along with its estimated price?I've already checked hondata and it seems that they don't have a product for a D16.If there aren't any available, can you suggest any techniques to increase the car's power?thanks.

RE: ECU for D16
I would have resorted to hondata, but after checking their site,it seems that they don't have a product for it....at least for the 2005 model. But if the engine number is the same,I guess it won't matter, right?I think the 2001-2005 civic VTi-S would be using the same engine with the VTEC3 technology.

RE: ECU for D16
yeah.in the Philippines, the LXi model comes with a D15,the VTi or VTi-S is with a D16 and the RS civic is equipped with a K20A3.Since the car is still new, swapping its engine for a K20 or K22 feels like a waste to me.Tha's why I'm resorting to squeezing out the stock engine's power with an aftermarket ECU.
