I have a 99 honda civic ex vtec dohc and the stock wiring harness wont work with it. I was told to go with an integra wiring harness and ecu. I was wondering what kind of ecu i should buy and if that is the right wiring harness for a b16? where can i get these peices at and how much will it cost?

 

The stock harness will work, there are only 1 thing different between a DOHC and SOHC vtec harness.

The DOHC has a knock sensor and a wire for it and the sohc dont

 

i was told it will work BUT not all the wires will reach the plugins so you have to make your own extentions for them and then it wont look very clean

 

get some wire loom, some electrical tape, and you can make it look brand new!!!!!!!!!
