well then like i said it can only be the ecu or another bad dizzy,or plug wires, ill try and do some more research on this to help you, here are some threads about the random misfire and their solutions,
what do all spark plugs look like?

Thanks for the post. I read the links u provided. I'll check the fuel pressure and test the pressure regulator. I'll have to go to a bigger town to get an adapter for my pressure tester all I have is for a sharader valve. (American cars)

I'll check that also, but it still seems to be ignition related, as seen by my timing light. I'll post my results. Thanks

yea i know that you seen it through the timing light, the only thing i can think of is another bad dizzy, or we can try to overlook the timing light and try other things.

Yea. I'll look around at some of the other things. But I feel as if I might be overlooking the obvious if I don't explore all the ignition first. Which it looks as if I have, other than the ECU and I'm not sure how much of a miss that would cause. I also "rebuilt" took apart my OLD dizzy, cleaned all the sensors, refiled 1 of the sensors pickup and reassembled all of it. That seemed to have helped some but I still had the misfire. I'm still plugging away at it. I can't wait till I find it. Just to see what it ends up being! Thanks for all your time and efforts!!!

I couldn't find a tester for the fuel system test tonight. So in the morning I'll get a new tester and check the fuel system from the fuel pump to the injectors and post the results for all. I pulled the dizzy that I bought off ebay, off the car tonight and reinstalled the one I cleaned. I'm not sure there was much of a change in the engine between either one. So that would mean if it is the dizzy both are bad. If it's not the dizzy both should be good. I'm looking for a PM6 out of a manual now. Some on ebay, haven't found any left on craigslist yet.

OK, after not being able to find an adapter for my tester I built one from a 6mm bolt a piece of fuel line and a brass tubing fitting. I have ran all the following checks on the fuel system, fuel flow, regulator and fuel pressure. All checks OK except for the system pressure reading 3-5lbs low. Which I don't think will cause my misfire prob. I have an ECU on the way we'll see what that does and go from there. ??? What do the pros think? Thanks

I'm betting on the ECU. The chance of having two dizzies with them same prb. is probly slim to none. I'll let everyone know as soon as it gets here and I get it installed. Thanks for taking the pics of the 300Z and posting them for us. BTW it's still for sale.
