Default Extremely low idle with chipped p28

I have a 98 coupe with a H22A swapped in, currently running a p13.
I got a p28 and chipped it.
The chip is base mapped with the stock base map for the motor.

The problem I am having is the idle,
It idles 100-200rpm

If I give it gas it responds very well but will stall when I let off due to the low idle.

I have tried adjusting the idle adjustment and timing with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Dayton

If you reinstall the P13, does the problem go away?

Why do you want to run the chipped p28? Who chipped the p28? Is that chip tunable? If so, what program?

No egr on the chipped P28,
I chipped it,
Chip is re-burnable, program unknow
Friend of a guy at work made the chip for me, took 3 weeks to get it.
Guy is impossible to get ahold of.

Idle on the P28 chip is set at 800, so it makes no sense that it idles fine with the P13 but only around 100 rpm's with the P28.

Not sure what to tell you other than contact the tuner again. Maybe something wasn't done correctly when being chipped? Who knows.

I've had good luck with basemaps from Phearable.net

They're only like $40 shipped.

BoostedD16, initial idle will be higher if you have a FITV, then it will drop. Be sure to jump the service connector.
