Default A/F ratio gauge

Are these things worth it? I mean do they provide any helpful/relevant information or are they just for looks?

The wideband ones are one of the best tuning tools you will and can ever have. I would say on par with a dyno!

The narrowband ones that are like 50-60 bucks are a nice lightshow and thats about it.

Keep in mind widebands are fairly expensive and the O2 sensors have a tendency to fail and arent cheap to replace although they are getting better.

they narrow band ones are a good gauge to have if you have forced induction so you know if your leaning your motor out or not

Narrow band work good for areas that FI would not affect AFRs. These areas are the ones where the ECU is still on closed loop and relies on the readings from the O2 sensor to compensate for the mixture. The wideband sensors are the ones used for tuning where the ECU cannot do this closed loop compensation. While narrow band sensors are good to see if your ecu is doing what it is suppose, it is not as good for letting you know if you are running lean due to the FI.
