Default Gauge question

Ok i have 02 dx and that equals no tach
Instead of buying one of those huge ones that sits on the dash can i buy a gauge set say for an ex or lx
and wire it up? Is it possible to get it to work? Dont care how hard it would be just wanna know if its possible
Thanks

No rewireing needed bro the dx even though it may seem very primitive its still the same base as the ex just change out the gages and it will plug ang play

Yup, like he said plug and play! I've got a 95 DX and it did the same thing. got one out of a totaled ex, took mine out and put the new one in. and......... VOILA! TACHOMETER! Just make sure you check all the lights before you put it in. Otherwise it may cause problems for you later trying to figure out which light is out and where it is. Being that you have to take it apart again

I believe they are talking about the whole gauge cluster, they are all the same. So if you find one with a tach just get it and swap it. That means the odometer, the fuel gauge, and the temp gauge.

Right, I'm asking if you can switch odometers so it has the right number of miles on it. If it were me, I would want my original odometer.
