Hey wats going on every1 ok i have a 94ex civicD16Z6automatici did a motor swap and tranny to a 97ex D16Y8 automaticnow i have not changed the ecu which i am not sure is important some tell me yes some say no now i come here to know the truth i wanted to know if it makes a differents in preformance and if i should change it thanks for the help

 

if you're not throwing a check engine light you're fine. The ECU that you have is good to run a d16y8.

 

So is there anything else i can do to make the car take off faster or speed up i have changed the intake like right now i thought i be a bit faster but still feel blah
