Hello, I have a problem with my 95 civic thats been bugging me for awhile. My SRS light doesnt turn off, what gives? Does someone have a answer for this? Thanks in advance.

 

theres a 2 wire yellow plug plugged into a dummy harness by the fuse box. pull that out, and get a piece of wire (speaker wire with 2 pieces stuck together makes it easier, you can leave one side plugged in and work the other end) hold the ends together and turn the ignition on. hold it for a few seconds until the SRS light turns off, then let go. then the light should come back on, as soon as it does reconnect the wires and hold them til it goes off, then let go until it comes on, then connect it again til it goes off, then let go and it should blink twice and stay off. if it goes off and then comes on again down the road, go to the dealer and get it checked out. sometimes it goes on, then once you reset it it will stay off, but sometimes it means theres a problem and it will come back on.

 

While yout doind this please keep your head out of the way of the airbag. Just in case.
