injector upgrade??

Default injector upgrade??

i have a 98 civic ex with my stock 240 cc injectors i also have a set of 330cc prelude injectors that i want to install is there anything specific i need to do to put them in? do i need to tamper with my a/f at all or are they okay just going in


on my engine i have an air intake headers exhaust and a p28 chipped ecu (not fully tuned yet)

I thought OEM prelude injector were 290cc? Could be wrong though.

Yes, your A/f's will be messed with. Why do you feel the need to upgrade your injectors by 50-100cc when you have a stock motor? What are your future plans for the car?

If you don't have a A/f gauge with a wideband o2 sensor, I would highly advise against installing the injectors.

Yes... you need a reason for having them

I have air intake headers chipped p28 ecu exhaust and I have them
because they are free

I mean you need a reason to install them. You don't have one. You only need higher flow rate injectors if your engine needs them. Based on your modifications, you don't need more fuel than the stock injectors are already providing.

looks like they are going up for sale then... Any suggestions of what my next step should be prior to fine tuning my ecu

I'm lookin to get into the high 170s na on my d series and if the price is right doesn't
matter to much I just won't turbo or supercharge
