i live in gay ny so the emisions law for cars is all weird here. i got a b16a2 from japan, the obd1 computer. And because my car is from 97 i need to link up to albany, people are saying that with my computer when i go into a shop to get it inspected i will not be able to communicate with the computer at the shop, i was just wonderin if n e one has had a similar problem and what they did to deal with it. thanks

 

you may need to convert the motor to OBD2.

 

i agree. is it a federal law or is state by state that says it is illegal to put an older motor in a newer car? it may be state to state
