interior dashboardligts

Default interior dashboardligts

when i turn on my lights my dashboard with the speedometer and all the buttons having to do wit ac dnt turn on either. its hard to see how fast im goin at nite. ive changed some fuses. still nothing. is this a common proble?? how cud i fix it??

Sounds like a bad dimmer switch. Carefully pry the switch out of the dash, unplug the connector, and then install a jumper wire into the free connector in such a way as to connect the Red and Black wires. Do the lights now work?

+1... had this problem in my 93 Civic EX way back when. Replaced the dimmer switched and everything worked fine.

BTW, why the hell is this thread in the ECU tuning/Fuel Management section?

the nub prolly saw tuning and thought it had to do with tuning the car like a tune up or something and figured the question could be asked here...lol

Hey just be happy he/she wasnt asking if they could hook there dimmer switch to vtec so they could control when vtec kicks in and how power it is LOL

sounds good ima order a dimmer switch offline thank u for all dat helped me saves me alot of money

I have a dimmer switch for sale. $5 plus shipping

it's faded (I think), so just pop the front cover off and swap the cover with your old one. Selling it really cheap because it's faded.
