Default just a simple question......

on a 94 d16z6.....does the vtec ecu advace the timing when vtec kicks in? and when does vtec usually kick in?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't do anything to the timing when vtec engages, but it engages at 4800rpm on the d-series motors

(and thanks for spelling vtec correctly.. we don't get that a lot from newer members often )

they spell it VTECK or V-TEK
so you got off to a good start on here by spelling it right.
