yo guys whats up .. everytime i need answers to my questions the only place i find them seems to be here
so im pretty sure u can guys will be able to help me again ..

nways .. im about to do a mini me swap on my 97 civic dx and i also have an ecu from
a vtec engine. i know most ppl who do this go with the vafc 2 controller but i got the ecu for free so.. i know the ecu is vtec but i dont know if its a obd1 or obd2 or .. i dont even know what that means ..
anyways i swaped my intake manifold a while ago so i needed to change the ecu to one that would let the car idle nicely..
but the ecu that worked was a vtec so i thought might as well get a d16 vtec head and add even more power .. but
i dont know any of the wiring proccess ..
I mean is it just one wire from the solenoid to the ecu and thats it ??
and where is it gonna go ??

any comments i would appreciate ..

 

read off all the numbers on the ecu and post them so that i can see and for your car you will need either a obd 2 computer or a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.

 

Show me a picture of the ECU Pins, I can tell you if its OBD1 or 2
