Default obd0 engine w/ 0bd1 ecu?

Ok, I don't want to use a piggy back fuel system for boosting a b16a1.

I was wondering if using a obd0 to obd1 harness and a obd1 ecu on a b16a1 is a good idea?

Should I use a p28, p72, or p30 with uberdata or hondata?

Any suggestions?

I am trying to be as reliable and cost effective as possible. I want to run around 7psi on the stock engine, and in the future build it.. . . .

I think it is a great idea to use a conversion harness. And if I was you I would use uberdata because while Hondata is great Uberdata allows you to tune yourself and is alot cheaper. As far as which ECU to use I would go with a P28, the P30 and P72 both have knock sensors which may sound nice but honda knock sensors are a joke and the last thing you need is the ecu trying to pull back timming from the original tune. Then again with both Uberdata and Hondata you can stop the useage of the knock sensor so I guess it just comes down to use the one you can find the cheapest.

If you need any help on chipping or finding a ECU let me know as I have a number of contacts that I can use, one of them has uberdata chipped ecu's on wait and I would be glad to put you in contact with him, I also know someone that sells conversion harness's so just let me know if you need anything.

Ok, I talked to this guy who builds custom turbo setups. He said I can use turbo edit on my b16 ecu and it's not worth spending the extra money to convert it to obd1.

How hard is it to convert? I know I need a wire harness, what do I do about the cable tranny to hydro?

dont have to change your tranny, just go with turboedit. It is a good program.
