Default OBD2 plug modification

Hey there guys, i have a 2000 honda civic LX, 4 door, D16Y7, and i live in Brazil, i just found out that the Brazilian model did not came with that OBD2 plug under the fuse box like de U.S. model, i know i have the 2 pin on the passenger side, i have a scanner and i really would like to use it lol, so my question is, if i buy a D16Y7 U.S. engine wire harness, the one that goes to the ECU, would that harness be the one that would come with that OBD2 plug that goes under the fuse box? thank you very much!

If you are asking if the engine harness goes directly to the OBD2 reader, then the answer is no. That port is given info by the ECU primarily. I never messed around trying to add one of these to a car, I have only made those ports become useless when swtiching to OBD1

I honestly have no clue. I would look at the wiring near the interior fusebox since that is right near where the connector is located.
