Default Please Help!! Injector, valve, or tune?

Hey guys, ok, so on sunday as i pulled out of kroger, my engine and exhaust started belching a s**t load of smoke. I began dissassembly yesterday and found the culprit. Youll hear it again and again on here, my XS Power turbo from ssautochrome took a dump and spewed oil all over my engine bay, exhaust manifold, downpipe. So, i cleaned up the block and stuff, and wanted to just crank it over to see if anything was going on with compression. I left the wires off and began, then my assistant let me in on the weirdest thing. During the cranking over, fuel began to run out of the #2 cylinder exhaust port????? My car was not previously tuned and is notorious for running freaking rich, BUT what would explain the fuel coming out of just the one port??!! Now, i have heard 4 different things: Injector is stuck open and just pouring fuel, valve seat, doing it just because its not tuned, or the injector is clogged or angled in the manifold. Now, i have ordered a new turbo, but this is still a problem that needs to be addressed before i put everything back together. Please let me know what you think.

sounds like a injector being stuck but I may be wrong. This is one of those things that is really hard to pin point without being there.

Like Marty said, it's pretty hard to diagnose without being there to actually see and hear what's all going on. But, I will tell you that when I had my injectors wired incorrectly, I too was spewing fuel out of the exhaust port. How are your injectors wired? Is everything soldered? If not, go through all your injector wiring and find the loose connection. It'd be a good idea at this point to solder everything.

i think forty is refering to runnin new injectors. i know when i bought my 310s they came with new plugs for the injectors that had to be wired into my harness.

The injectors i got from RC Engineering (310) just came by themselves and clipped in to factory plug with no issue. Was i supposed to get anything else?

ok nevermind i just figured it out. your obd1 and rc injectrs are obd1 so all you needed were the injectors. my cars obd2 so i needed the obd1 plugs.

Cool, so, back to problem at hand. I understand that being here thing, but just off the top of your heads, what does it sound like. Just tell me its not a valve problem, i dont want to even want to attempt that.

my bad dude, i thought you were running 450's with resistor box.

Anywho, I really have no clue as to what is wrong. Have you run a compression test for good measure?
