i have a 98 sedan lx. it had power locks until i changed the deck and put in an alarm. now the damn things dont work. i heard this is common for civics but how do i fix the locks??????

If they are hooked up to the alarm they should work fine. The alarm you put in was aftermarket right? Did you install it?

 

thats what i thought. i had the stereo shop install it. they said they ran into this problem before w/ civics that had factory keyless entry but didnt know how to fix it. i went to honda dealer and they said they have heard of it also. they were not helpful though. they just said gotta have one of the techs look at it. the alarm is an audiovox alarm, if that makes any diff.
