Rev limiter
Wanted to verify if there is an ECU for D15Bs that is capable of 9,500 + 500rpm.
At 7,000 rpm you can still feel the pull of the engine so I don't think it peaks at 6,800 only.
I want to see how far this engine can go. Given its zesty performance, I don'tthink it is stock anymore.

you dont think?? you should really KNOW, before you start pushing your car to the extreme.. get on the phone call the guy you bought it from, and figure out what is done to it before you start maxxing out the rev limiter for no reason... your asking for problems doing that
my advice, dont touch it, mine revs out at 7200 and im sure my engine doesnt like it much lol

don't mess with it... it's called a power curve for a reason. once your up that high, your not making any noticeable power and your hurting your engine severely.
additionally, Honda had a reason for setting it there...

Then, after you take the Dseries engine 2500+ RPMs further and it blows to **** because the rod bolts let go and the pistons smash into the head and then throws the rod out of the block, you'll come to us wondering why.
Here's why.
IT'S NOT BUILT FOR IT.
Thanks for the practical advise but I think I'm old enough to know what I want.
PM me in case you want to know how old I am.
As a clue, I'm restoring this car that will soon be turned over to my teen age son.
Given your inputs, time toput my blueprinting skills to useagain.
Is there any other option besides the Crome EU ? -Thanks Soviet.
