wats the safelimit on 440 cc injectors and 255 fuel pump

The lower the better, the better the tuner the better. The higher the octane of the fuel the better. I would shoot for 250whp or less.....this way you are definely in the safe zone.

 

i wouldnt set a horspower goal, when you go to get it tuned, i'de jus watch the duty cycle and make sure its kept at a save duty cycle so you dont max them out and damage the injectors from overworking them

 

Sorry I don't agree with setting a duty cycle as a main goal. Decide how much hp you want then build an engine that can make that power, ie then you pick the injector size that will be in a safe duty cycle % and give you the hp you want.

 

im kinda lost here. i checked rc's web site for horsepower ratings and for a 440 injector it came out to be 228 max hp? i have 310's right now and that was 160 and i know im pushing more than that

 

Their ratings are either crank hp and you think you have more whp or you are running more hp than your injectors should safely handle. Are you taking fuel pressure into consideration?
